आयु सीमा और छूट
- 12-11-2026 को अधिकतम आयु 45 वर्ष; उम्मीदवार का जन्म 13-11-1981 या उसके बाद होना चाहिए।
- आरक्षित ST पद के लिए 5 वर्ष की आयु छूट; Ex-servicemen को भारत सरकार के नियमों के अनुसार अधिकतम 50 वर्ष तक छूट।
- PwBD उम्मीदवारों को इन hazardous-operation posts के लिए आवेदन न करने को कहा गया है।

चयन प्रक्रिया
- Online applications की scrutiny और uploaded certificates के आधार पर shortlisting हो सकती है; certificate verification सफल होने के बाद चयन tests होंगे।
- Fabrication Assistant (Welder) और Outfit Assistant के लिए Practical Test 100 marks का है।
- Mooring & Scaffolding Assistant के लिए Phase I Practical Test 80 marks और Phase II Physical Test 20 marks है।
- UR posts के लिए प्रत्येक test में न्यूनतम 50%; ST-reserved vacancy में ST उम्मीदवार के लिए प्रत्येक test में 40%. समान aggregate marks पर अधिक आयु वाले उम्मीदवार को seniority in age से preference मिलेगी।

आवेदन कैसे करें
- Cochin Shipyard Career → CMSRU, Mumbai page पर User Manual/FAQ पढ़ें और SAP portal में One Time Registration करें।
- अपने पात्र post के विरुद्ध online application submit करें; एक से अधिक application submit न करें।
- Application submit होने के बाद My Applications में status 'In process' जाँचें और unique registration number वाला soft copy/printout सुरक्षित रखें।
- Online application/Certificates/DD/Challan/Cheque डाक से भेजने की जरूरत नहीं है।

Age Limit and Relaxation
- Maximum age is 45 years as on 12-11-2026; applicant should be born on or after 13-11-1981.
- Age relaxation is 5 years for the ST-reserved post; Ex-servicemen get relaxation as per Government of India rules subject to a maximum age of 50 years.
- PwBD candidates are advised not to apply for these hazardous-operation posts.

Application Fee
- ₹300 non-refundable plus applicable bank charges, payable online; SC/ST candidates are exempt.
Selection Process
- Online applications may be scrutinised and shortlisted using uploaded certificates; selection tests follow successful certificate verification.
- For Fabrication Assistant (Welder) and Outfit Assistant, selection is through a 100-mark Practical Test.
- For Mooring & Scaffolding Assistant, Phase I is an 80-mark Practical Test and Phase II is a 20-mark Physical Test.
- Minimum pass mark is 50% in each test for unreserved posts and 40% in each test for an ST candidate against the ST-reserved vacancy. Ties in aggregate marks are resolved by seniority in age.
