आयु सीमा और छूट
- 23-10-2026 को आयु: Library and Information Officer और Head Modeller अधिकतम 30; Hindi Translator, Modeller और Driver-cum-Mechanic अधिकतम 28 वर्ष।
- Library and Information Officer / Head Modeller: पहले से कार्यरत उम्मीदवारों के लिए Selection Committee की अनुशंसा पर बोर्ड आयु में छूट दे सकता है; आरक्षित वर्ग को भारत सरकार के नियमों के अनुसार छूट।
- Modeller: OBC छूट सरकारी नियमों के अनुसार; अत्यधिक अनुभवी/योग्य उम्मीदवारों को Selection Committee की अनुशंसा पर बोर्ड अतिरिक्त आयु छूट दे सकता है। Hindi Translator: आरक्षित वर्ग के नियम लागू; अन्यथा उपयुक्त उम्मीदवारों को उक्त अनुशंसा पर बोर्ड छूट दे सकता है। Driver-cum-Mechanic: सरकारी नियमों के अनुसार आरक्षित वर्ग की छूट।

चयन प्रक्रिया
- निर्धारित cutoff प्राप्त करने के बाद लिखित परीक्षा और/या लागू skill test के अंकों से मेरिट बनेगी।

Essential Qualification and Experience

| Library and Information Officer: Master's or equivalent Honours in Indian History, Anthropology or Arts; Library Science diploma; seven years in an established Indian library, preferably a museum library; research experience with published Archaeology, Art or Anthropology work. |
| Head Modeller: recognised modelling-sculpture degree/diploma and about five years in a responsible role handling sculpture models and allied work. Modeller: School Final/equivalent, recognised Arts degree/diploma specialising in modelling, and at least three years' practical modelling experience. |
| Hindi Translator: recognised Hindi graduation/equivalent in addition to English, with at least five years' translation in a large establishment. Driver-cum-Mechanic: recognised Class 10, professional driving skill, thorough car-mechanism knowledge, general smartness, permanent driving licence, five years' driving and ability to perform minor repairs. |
| Desirable: Head Modeller—diagrams and scale models; Modeller—museum work; Hindi Translator—Bengali and Hindi typing at 30 wpm; Driver-cum-Mechanic—ability to handle heavy vehicles. |
| For Library and Information Officer and Head Modeller, the Board may relax qualifications on the Selection Committee’s recommendation for otherwise well-qualified candidates. |
Age Limit and Relaxation
- Age on 23-10-2026: Library and Information Officer and Head Modeller up to 30; Hindi Translator, Modeller and Driver-cum-Mechanic up to 28 years.
- Library and Information Officer / Head Modeller: the Board may relax age for candidates already employed on the Selection Committee’s recommendation; reserved-category relaxation follows Government of India rules.
- Modeller: OBC relaxation follows Government rules; the Board may also relax age for highly experienced/qualified candidates on the Selection Committee’s recommendation. Hindi Translator: reserved-category rules apply and the Board may relax age for otherwise suitable candidates on that recommendation. Driver-cum-Mechanic: reserved-category relaxation under Government rules.
