Apprentice	भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए। Govt. of India द्वारा recognized University से किसी भी discipline में Degree (Graduation) या Central Government द्वारा recognized equivalent qualification; result 31.07.2026 या उससे पहले declared होना चाहिए। NATS candidates के लिए Graduation result 01.03.2022 से 31.07.2026 के बीच होना चाहिए। Candidate ने IOB या किसी अन्य organisation में पहले apprenticeship नहीं की हो, apprenticeship training pursue नहीं कर रहा हो, और requisite educational qualification के बाद 1 year या अधिक training/job experience न हो।

Apprentice

आयु सीमा और छूट

Apprentice; 01.07.2026 को General/EWS के लिए minimum 20 years और maximum 28 years; DOB 01.07.1998 से 01.07.2006 inclusive.
SC/ST: 5 years; OBC-NCL: 3 years; PwBD: 10 years. NAPS registered candidates age-relaxation condition के बावजूद cut-off date पर 34 years से कम होने चाहिए.

चयन प्रक्रिया

Online written examination (objective type).
Bank द्वारा aggregate minimum percentage तय किया जाएगा; SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates को 5% relaxation. Individual subject में minimum qualifying marks नहीं हैं.
Merit reservation rules के अनुसार; cut-off पर same marks होने पर age में senior candidate higher rank पाएगा.
Applicable candidates के लिए local-language test document verification process के दौरान होगा; fail करने पर apprenticeship engagement नहीं होगा.
Bank personal interaction कर सकता है; final selection eligibility/information verification, written-test qualification, applicable local-language test, personal interaction if any and medical examination पर subject है.

परीक्षा के नियम

02.08.2026 का exam Remote Proctored Online Examination था; candidate को own front-camera-enabled smartphone/laptop/desktop/tablet से remotely appear करना था.
Same ID proof display करना था जो apprenticeship portal पर upload किया गया था; PwBD exception को छोड़कर exam के दौरान candidate के पास कोई दूसरा व्यक्ति नहीं होना चाहिए.

कौशल और अन्य परीक्षण

Applied State की specified local language में reading, writing, speaking और understanding proficiency आवश्यक है.
10th/12th mark sheet/certificate में specified opted local language पढ़े होने का evidence देने वाले candidates local-language test से exempt हैं.

NATS या NAPS apprenticeship portal पर registration complete करना mandatory था.
BFSI SSC BEEP portal के Career Opportunities page पर IOB Apprenticeship FY 2026-27 के लिए online application/fee process complete करना था.

Selection Process

Online written examination (objective type).
The Bank decides the minimum aggregate percentage; SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates get 5% relaxation. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects.
Merit is subject to reservation rules; at the cut-off, if marks are equal, the candidate senior in age is ranked higher.
For applicable candidates, the local-language test is conducted during document verification; failure means no apprenticeship engagement.
The Bank may conduct personal interaction; final selection is subject to eligibility/information verification, qualifying the written test, applicable local-language test, personal interaction if any and medical examination.

Examination Rules

The 02.08.2026 exam was a Remote Proctored Online Examination; candidates had to appear remotely using their own front-camera-enabled smartphone/laptop/desktop/tablet.
Candidates had to display the same ID proof uploaded on the apprenticeship portal; except for the PwBD exception, no other person was allowed near the candidate during the exam.

Skill and Other Tests

Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the specified local language of the applied State is required.
Candidates producing a 10th/12th mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language are exempt from the local-language test.

How to Apply

Registration on the NATS or NAPS apprenticeship portal was mandatory.
The online application/fee process for IOB Apprenticeship FY 2026-27 had to be completed on the BFSI SSC BEEP Career Opportunities page.
No other mode of application was accepted.
