योग्यता में छूट और निर्णायक तारीख
- UGC 2009/2016 विनियमों व संशोधनों के अनुसार प्राप्त Ph.D. पर NET/SLET/SET छूट लागू है। 11-07-2009 से पहले पंजीकृत Ph.D. के लिए नियमित माध्यम, कम-से-कम 2 बाहरी परीक्षकों से मूल्यांकन, open viva, Ph.D. कार्य पर 2 शोधपत्र (कम-से-कम 1 refereed) तथा UGC/ICSSR/CSIR या समान संस्था द्वारा प्रायोजित/वित्तपोषित/समर्थित conferences/seminars में 2 presentations जरूरी हैं; Registrar या Dean (Academic Affairs) से प्रमाणन चाहिए।
- जिन Master's विषयों में मान्य NET/SLET/SET आयोजित नहीं होता, वहाँ इसकी आवश्यकता नहीं है। विदेशी Ph.D. वाले वैकल्पिक मार्ग में विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान कभी भी QS, THE या ARWU (Shanghai) विश्व रैंकिंग में शीर्ष 500 में होना चाहिए।
- सूचना में SC/ST/OBC-NCL और निर्दिष्ट दिव्यांगता श्रेणियों को स्नातक/स्नातकोत्तर स्तर पर 5% अंक छूट है; यह grace marks के बिना qualifying marks पर लागू है। 19-09-1991 से पहले Master's प्राप्त Ph.D. धारकों को Master's में 55% से 50% की छूट है। योग्यता, अनुभव और प्रकाशन आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि तक के माने जाएंगे।
आयु सीमा
- सेवानिवृत्त शिक्षकों पर अधिकतम 70 वर्ष की आयु तक विचार किया जा सकता है।

चयन प्रक्रिया

- JNU की आधिकारिक भर्ती वेबसाइट से CU-Chayan पोर्टल खोलकर ऑनलाइन आवेदन जमा करें। केवल ऑनलाइन आवेदन स्वीकार होंगे।
नियुक्ति की शर्तें
- नियमित शिक्षकों के भत्ते, पेंशन, ग्रेच्युटी और अवकाश लाभ देय नहीं हैं। नियमितीकरण या संविदा-विस्तार का अधिकार नहीं मिलेगा; विश्वविद्यालय बिना कारण बताए संविदा समाप्त कर सकता है।

Qualification Exemptions and Cutoff
- NET/SLET/SET exemption is available for a Ph.D. awarded under the UGC 2009/2016 regulations and amendments. For registration before 11-07-2009, exemption requires a regular-mode Ph.D., evaluation by at least two external examiners, an open viva, two Ph.D.-based research papers (at least one refereed) and two Ph.D.-based presentations at conferences/seminars sponsored, funded or supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or a similar agency; the Registrar or Dean (Academic Affairs) must certify these conditions.
- NET/SLET/SET is also not required for Master's disciplines in which such an accredited test is not conducted. The alternative foreign-Ph.D. route requires a university/institution ranked among the world top 500 at any time by QS, THE or ARWU (Shanghai).
- The notice allows 5% marks relaxation at Bachelor's/Master's level for SC/ST/OBC-NCL and the specified disability categories, based on qualifying marks without grace marks. Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master's before 19-09-1991 receive Master's relaxation from 55% to 50%. Eligibility, experience and publications are assessed up to the application closing date.
Age Limit
- Superannuated teachers may be considered up to 70 years of age.

Selection Process
- The academic score under Appendix II (Table 3A) of the UGC Regulations, 2018 will be used for shortlisting candidates for interview.
- Final selection will be based only on interview performance; shortlisted candidates will be informed by email.

Engagement Conditions
- Regular-teacher allowances, pension, gratuity and leave benefits are not admissible. There is no entitlement to regularization or extension; the university may terminate the contract without assigning reasons.
