कार्य की जिम्मेदारियाँ
- गहन चिकित्सा के मरीजों का आकलन और निरंतर निरीक्षण करना, चिकित्सकीय निर्देशों व अस्पताल प्रोटोकॉल का पालन करना, निर्धारित उपचार देना, तेजी से बदलती स्थिति व पुनर्जीवन आवश्यकताओं पर कार्रवाई करना, प्रक्रियाओं में सहयोग और मरीजों व परिवारों को शिक्षित करना।
- आकलन, उपचार और दवा के गोपनीय रिकॉर्ड रखना; पूर्ण शिफ्ट हैंडओवर देना, बिना भेदभाव देखभाल करना तथा टीम नेतृत्व, कार्य आवंटन, प्रशिक्षण और क्लिनिकल बैठकों में सहयोग करना।
- देखभाल योजना बनाना, मरीज का सामान सुरक्षित रखना, दवाएँ/आपूर्ति और जीवाणुरहित उपकरण बनाए रखना, राउंड में भाग लेना, बदलाव रिपोर्ट करना, विद्यार्थियों की निगरानी, शिक्षण सहयोग तथा वेंटिलेटर, BIPAP, ग्लूकोमीटर और इन्फ्यूजन पंप संभालना।

Job Responsibilities
- Assess and continually monitor critical-care patients, follow medical instructions and hospital protocols, administer prescribed treatment, respond to rapid changes and resuscitation needs, assist procedures and educate patients and families.
- Maintain confidential records of assessments, treatment and medication; provide full shift handover, support nondiscriminatory care and assist team leadership, assignments, training and clinical conferences.
- Prepare care plans, protect patient belongings, maintain drugs/supplies and sterile equipment, join rounds, report changes, supervise students, support teaching and look after ventilators, BIPAP, glucometers and infusion pumps.
