चयन प्रक्रिया
- Single-stage CBT; post के अनुसार CBAT/CBTST, फिर Document Verification और Medical Examination।
- CBT qualifying marks: UR/EWS 40%, OBC-NCL 30%, SC 30%, ST 25%; notified PwBD shortage case में 2% relaxation।
- CBT merit और preferences के आधार पर vacancies के बराबर candidates DV के लिए बुलाए जाते हैं; final appointment medical fitness/certificate/antecedent verification पर निर्भर है।
- Tie: अधिक आयु को preference; age same होने पर alphabetical order of name।

परीक्षा के नियम
- सभी CBT में गलत उत्तर पर 1/3 negative marking।
- ALP CBAT में negative marking नहीं; प्रत्येक battery अलग qualify करनी है; final merit में CBT और CBAT को 50%-50% weightage।
- CBT questions/options English और Hindi में।
कौशल और अन्य परीक्षण
- Junior Clerk Cum Typist के लिए CBTST qualifying है: English 30 WPM या Hindi 25 WPM; marks merit में नहीं जुड़ते।
- ALP के लिए CBT के बाद CBAT; community-wise ALP vacancies के 8 गुना candidates shortlist होते हैं।

- Required scans upload करके 30-10-2026, 23:59 तक submit करें। केवल एक online application; post preference final है।
आधिकारिक अपडेट और शुद्धिपत्र
- Corrigendum-1 dated 16-10-2026 ने eligible serving regular BLW Varanasi employees को भी apply करने की अनुमति दी; जिन्होंने पहले apply किया उन्हें दोबारा नहीं करना।
- Closing date 30-10-2026 यथावत है।

Age Limit and Relaxation
- Minimum age is 18 years as on 01-01-2027; upper age is UR 42, OBC 45 and SC/ST 47 years.
- A reserved-category candidate applying against an unreserved vacancy cannot claim community age relaxation.

Selection Process
- Single-stage CBT; CBAT/CBTST as applicable by post, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.
- CBT qualifying marks: UR/EWS 40%, OBC-NCL 30%, SC 30%, ST 25%; notified 2% relaxation for PwBD in shortage cases.
- Candidates equal to the vacancies are called for DV based on CBT merit and preferences; final appointment is subject to medical fitness, certificate and antecedent verification.
- Tie: older candidate ranks higher; if age is the same, alphabetical order of name is used.

Examination Rules
- All CBTs carry one-third negative marking for each incorrect answer.
- ALP CBAT has no negative marking; each battery must be qualified separately; final merit gives 50%-50% weightage to CBT and CBAT.
- CBT questions/options are in English and Hindi.
Skill and Other Tests
- CBTST for Junior Clerk Cum Typist is qualifying: English 30 WPM or Hindi 25 WPM; marks are not added to merit.
- For ALP, CBAT follows CBT; candidates up to eight times the community-wise ALP vacancies are shortlisted.
