- रेल वेल्डिंग (EA) तकनीशियन; 01-10-2026 को अधिकतम 35 वर्ष। आवश्यक योग्यता और अनुभव पूरा करने पर भारत सरकार के दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुसार आयु-छूट लागू होगी।

चयन प्रक्रिया

संविदा अवधि और बांड
- प्रारंभिक संविदा दो वर्ष की है; एक वर्ष पर प्रदर्शन समीक्षा होगी। आगे का विस्तार प्रदर्शन और परियोजना की आवश्यकता पर निर्भर है। नियुक्ति परियोजना के साथ समाप्त होगी और नियमित नियुक्ति का अधिकार नहीं देगी। दो वर्ष की प्रारंभिक तथा बढ़ाई गई अवधि के लिए, अधिकतम तीन वर्ष तक, ₹5 लाख का सेवा बांड देना होगा।

Essential Qualification and Experience

| Matric + ITI OR Apprenticeship Training + NTC OR NCTVT. At least three years of post-qualification experience in arc welding and experience in covered arc welding of butt joints on 9 mm carbon-steel sheets, without a backing strip, in downward or upright position in compliance with ISO 9606-1 are required. |
| Prior Enclosed Arc (EA) or similar specialised welding experience in shipbuilding, shipping, heavy engineering, railways or comparable applications is preferred. Both working and non-working candidates with the specified qualification and experience may apply. Candidates must be in sound health and free from colour blindness; health standards are not relaxed. |
| Do not round percentages. Use the institution’s certified grade conversion; where no conversion exists, 6/10 equals 60%, proportionately adjusted for other scales. |
Age Limit
- Rail Welding (EA) Technician; Maximum 35 years on 01-10-2026. Age relaxation applies under Government of India guidelines, subject to meeting the required qualification and experience.
Post-wise Salary / Pay

| Pay scale ₹22,000–63,000, starting basic pay ₹22,000, variable DA quoted in the advertisement at 55.7%, and allowances of 15% of basic pay. The performance-based annual increment is 3% of basic pay. There is no pay protection. Bachelor accommodation at project sites is provided instead of HRA. |
| There are 12 casual and 12 earned-leave days per year; earned leave is encashable after completing three years. Premium for a ₹5 lakh health-insurance policy for self is reimbursable up to ₹8,000 annually against proof. The PF wage ceiling is ₹30,000 with a matching IRCON contribution. Telephone expenses and TA/DA/CTA during employment follow the entitlement of equivalent regular employees. |

Contract Duration and Bond
- The initial contract is for two years, with a performance review after one year. Further extension depends on performance and project need. Appointment is co-terminus with the project and gives no entitlement to regular appointment. A ₹5 lakh service bond covers the initial two years and any extension, subject to a maximum of three years.
