आयु सीमा और छूट
- 01-01-2027 को सामान्य आयु 18–30 वर्ष; OBC को 3 वर्ष और SC/ST को 5 वर्ष की ऊपरी आयु छूट।
- रेलवे कर्मचारी, आकस्मिक श्रमिक/स्थानापन्न, कम-से-कम 3 वर्ष लगातार या अलग अवधियों में सेवा: अधिकतम आयु UR 40, OBC 43 और SC/ST 45 वर्ष।
- विधवा/तलाकशुदा/न्यायिक रूप से अलग महिलाएँ जिन्होंने पुनर्विवाह नहीं किया: अधिकतम आयु UR 35, OBC 38 और SC/ST 40 वर्ष।
- रेलवे के अर्ध-प्रशासनिक कार्यालय/कैंटीन/सहकारी संस्था आदि के कर्मचारी: सेवा अवधि या 5 वर्ष, जो कम हो, की छूट।
- PwBD: 10 वर्ष की आयु छूट; सरकारी अस्पताल के कम-से-कम तीन सदस्यों वाले मेडिकल बोर्ड का प्रमाणपत्र आवश्यक है।
- भूतपूर्व सैनिक: कम-से-कम 6 महीने की प्रमाणित सेवा पर रक्षा सेवा अवधि और 3 वर्ष की छूट। सैनिक लाभ लेकर पहले ही नागरिक सरकारी सेवा में आए व्यक्ति इस भर्ती में फिर सैनिक दर्जे का लाभ नहीं ले सकते; लागू नागरिक कर्मचारी लाभ ही मिलेंगे।

चयन प्रक्रिया
- लिखित परीक्षा/CBT → संबंधित सांस्कृतिक विधा का व्यावहारिक प्रदर्शन और प्रमाणपत्र/पुरस्कार मूल्यांकन → दस्तावेज सत्यापन और पद के अनुसार रेलवे चिकित्सा उपयुक्तता।
- लिखित परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण अभ्यर्थियों में चरण I की मेरिट से पदों के 1:3 अनुपात में चरण II के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।
- दोनों चरणों और समिति की अनुशंसा के बाद मेरिट क्रम में पदों के 1:1 अनुपात में चिकित्सा परीक्षा होगी।

परीक्षा के नियम
- आवेदन में लिखित परीक्षा की भाषा हिंदी या अंग्रेजी चुनें।
- चरण I और चरण II में अलग-अलग न्यूनतम 40% आवश्यक हैं।
- ई-कॉल लेटर वेबसाइट से डाउनलोड करें। परीक्षा/प्रदर्शन की तिथि या स्थान बदलने/स्थगित करने का अनुरोध स्वीकार नहीं होगा।
- SC/ST के लिए अधिसूचना अनुसार द्वितीय श्रेणी रेल यात्रा पास उपलब्ध है; यात्रा/दैनिक भत्ता या आवास नहीं दिया जाएगा।
कौशल और प्रतिभा मूल्यांकन
- सांस्कृतिक व्यावहारिक प्रदर्शन: 35 अंक; प्रमाणपत्र/पुरस्कार से प्रतिभा मूल्यांकन: 15 अंक। लिखित परीक्षा सहित कुल चयन अंक 100 हैं।
- व्यावहारिक प्रदर्शन के आवश्यक वाद्य/उपकरण स्वयं लाएँ; रेलवे इन्हें उपलब्ध नहीं कराएगा।
- Clerk-cum-Typist के रूप में नियुक्त होने पर नियुक्ति से दो वर्ष में अंग्रेजी में 30 या हिंदी में 25 शब्द/मिनट टाइपिंग दक्षता प्राप्त करनी होगी; तब तक नियुक्ति अनंतिम रहेगी। यह नियुक्ति के बाद की शर्त है।

- सांस्कृतिक विधा और भाषा विकल्प सहित सभी आवश्यक विवरण भरें, निर्धारित दस्तावेज अपलोड करें और शुल्क का भुगतान करें।
- एक ही आवेदन जमा करें। अंतिम जमा करने से पहले विवरण जाँचें; आवेदन संख्या, भुगतान रसीद और आवेदन का प्रिंट सुरक्षित रखें।

Age Limit and Relaxation
- General age 18–30 as on 01-01-2027; upper-age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
- Serving Railway employees, casual labour/substitutes with at least 3 years of continuous service or broken spells: maximum age UR 40, OBC 43 and SC/ST 45.
- Widowed/divorced/judicially separated women who have not remarried: maximum age UR 35, OBC 38 and SC/ST 40.
- Employees of Railway quasi-administrative offices/canteens/co-operative institutions: relaxation equal to service rendered or 5 years, whichever is less.
- PwBD: 10 years’ age relaxation, supported by a disability certificate from a board of at least three members of a government hospital.
- Ex-servicemen: defence service plus 3 years with at least 6 months of attested service. Those who already joined civil government service using ex-servicemen benefits cannot claim that status again for this recruitment; applicable civil-employee benefits govern.

Application Fee

Selection Process
- Written test/CBT → practical demonstration and testimonial/prize assessment in the applied cultural discipline → document verification and Railway medical fitness for the offered post.
- Stage-I qualifiers are shortlisted for Stage II in Stage-I merit order at 1:3 of notified vacancies.
- After both stages and the committee’s recommendation, medical examination follows merit at 1:1 of notified vacancies.

Examination Rules
- Choose Hindi or English as the written-test language in the application.
- At least 40% is required separately in Stage I and Stage II.
- Download the e-call letter from the website. Requests to change/postpone test or demonstration dates/venues are not accepted.
- SC/ST candidates receive the notified second-class rail travel pass; no TA/DA or accommodation is provided.
Skill and Talent Assessment
- Cultural practical demonstration: 35 marks; talent assessment through testimonials/prizes: 15 marks. Total selection marks including the written test are 100.
- Bring the instruments needed for the practical demonstration; the Railway will not supply them.
- If appointed as Clerk-cum-Typist, acquire typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within two years of appointment; appointment remains provisional until then. This is a post-appointment requirement.
