Role Responsibilities
- Set organisation-wide engineering practices for quality, performance, design and operations, working with Design, Product, Data Science and Analytics on backend microservices.
- Architect and deliver loan-origination features across lead conversion, KYC, underwriting and approvals, or core branch-banking functions for loans, liabilities, term deposits and branch operations.
- Deliver end-to-end LOS and branch-banking features with reliable loan processing, secure employee workflows, maker-checker controls, transaction processing and core/downstream integration.
- Improve distributed-system design in identity, onboarding and payments; consider effects of changes across products and compliance.
- Prioritise across domains, estimate work, identify risks early, propose solutions and meet delivery timelines.
- Lead design, functional and code reviews, close issues promptly, and mentor engineers while guiding the technical direction of the assigned team.
- Improve hiring and represent the team and slice in internal and external engineering forums.
